What is Transitional Living?
Transitional living refers to any type of living situation that is not permanent. The primary purpose of transitional living environments is temporary, and often low cost housing.

Building Strong Women is a non-profit organization that offers transitional and rooming housing to women and their underage children (when space is available) in need of temporary housing, as they get back on their feet.
Building Strong Women offers housing to women who have an income, but are still in need of temporary housing. Building Strong Women offers support, domestic violence , homelessness, addiction, reentry program, and compassion to women that are in a crisis situation.
Monthly rates are $530 for a shared room and $630 for a private room and personal needs.
Purpose
To bring stability into the lives of the women that utilize our transitional living/room and board by empowering them to break the many barriers that hinder them from accomplishing their goals and visions.
